Retainer / Appliance Cleaning

How To Clean Retainers And Appliances:

• Use room temperature water to rinse (hot water can warp the retainer/appliance).
• Can scrub retainer/appliance with a toothbrush and soap.
• Do NOT use toothpaste to clean retainers/appliances.

Additional cleaning: (not necessary)

• You may leave appliances in room temp water with a tablet listed below while you’re not wearing them.
• You may purchase an ultrasonic dental cleaner (Zima Pod recommended and listed below).

Dental Cleaning Tablets

• Efferdent can be found at Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreen, etc.
• Retainer Brite can be found at Walmart and Target.

Zima Pod

• Can be used with water alone or you may add a tablet (listed above) for additional cleaning.
• The Zima Pod will come with 6 Zima tablets to start with.
