Directions for Care After Curodont

Curodont was applied today. Curodont treats early carious lesions through Guided Enamel Remineralization. Curodont diffuses throughout the lesion to provide the remineralizing agent and fluoride which work together with calcium and phosphate in your saliva to enhance remineralization of the lesion. The goal of this is to remineralize enough to prevent cavity progression and future need for tooth restoration with filling material.

To obtain the maximum benefit, please follow these recommendations:

• Do not rinse, eat, or drink for 30 minutes.
• After 30 minutes, you may eat and drink as normal.
• Continue with ideal oral hygiene habits, brushing with a fluoride toothpaste and flossing daily.
• These areas will be reevaluated in the future for remineralization.
